Job summary

Kajima Philippines Incorporated seeks a skilled Quantity Surveyor (M/E) to interface with engineers, review subcontractor proposals, and prepare accurate estimates aligned with bid documents. You will perform detailed quantity take-offs and develop construction methodologies while staying current with relevant codes and standards.

Applicants should hold a BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, possess a PRC license, and have at least 2 years in estimation, costing, and bid submission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• PRC professional license is required.
• Minimum 2 years in estimation, costing, bids, and contract documentation.
• Experience with bid documents, quantity take-off, and price estimation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Interface with co-engineers; secure documents, plans and specs.
• Review proposals from sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Determine construction methodology and standards per bid documents; create estimating standards.
• Solicit quotations from material and equipment suppliers; review pricing and spec compliance.
• Perform quantity take-off of materials, labor and equipment; prepare estimates.
• Maintain knowledge of Philippine and international codes/standards.
• Produce parameter reports from drafts and final bid packages.
• Provide re-estimates for redesigned or value-engineered projects or bids.
• Implement changes to processes under KTMS.PH Integrated Management System.
