Job summary

TaskUs is hiring a Learning Experience Program Manager in Pasig to oversee client relationships and mentor a team of Learning Experience Designers. You will drive learner-centered training solutions, manage program budgets, and ensure the successful delivery of instructional design initiatives.

Responsibilities include end-to-end design project oversight, needs analyses, and evaluating learning outcomes, with a focus on adoption and impact of online learning across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Instructional Design or closely related degree.
• 3–5 years designing learner-centered training programs and developing related training materials.
• Experience with learning needs analyses and evaluating learning outcomes.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and assessment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Learning Program Management (40%): lead client relationships, implement learning programs, manage training budgets, contribute to reports, analyze data to inform initiatives.
• Oversee Instructional Design Management (40%): manage end-to-end design projects, determine objectives, outline content, build curricula, evaluate effectiveness, drive adoption of online learning.
• Lead Team Management (20%): hire, train and mentor staff to ensure successful execution of design initiatives.

POSITION SUMMARY

The LXS Program Manager will oversee the client relationship from a learning standpoint. They will also lead and mentor a team of Learning Experience Designers (LXD) to deliver learner-centered training solutions.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

The LXS Program Manager/E-Learning Manager’s key tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:

LEARNING PROGRAM MANAGEMENT (40%)

• Lead the client/stakeholder relationship
• Implement learning programs based on identified learning needs
• Manage budget and spend related to training or content development
• Generate or contribute to business reviews/reports
• Analyze data through dashboards or trackers to inform or create planned initiatives as needed

INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN MANAGEMENT (40%)

• Oversee the end-to-end development of instructional design projects:
  • Analyzing learning needs
  • Determining required skills and competency levels
  • Identifying training objectives and performance targets
  • Defining instructional design strategy
  • Scoping/outlining training content
  • Building training curriculum/lesson plan
  • Evaluating learning effectiveness
• Discover and implement techniques to drive online learning adoption and content usage.
• Continuously update and improve knowledge, skills, and attitudes related to instructional design, adult education, and training evaluation.

TEAM MANAGEMENT (20%)

• Hire, train, mentor and evaluate staff to ensure seamless execution of instructional design initiatives.

The success of the LXS Program Manager will be measured through:

• Implementing training programs that reflect a learner-centered teaching philosophy
• Maintaining client relationships
• Generating or contributing to regular reports or business reviews

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Instructional Design or closely related degree.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years designing learner-centered training programs and developing related training materials
• 3-5 years conducting learning needs analyses to identify situations addressable by training solutions
• Working knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, and evaluation principles and practices
• Drafting measurable training goals and learning objectives (in all three learning domains)
• Developing appropriate learning assessment strategies and instruments

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Technology literate; can easily work with new software (e.g., media development tools, office suite, and other web applications)
• Understanding of functionalities of courseware authoring tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline)
• Experience with E-Learning design principles, practices, and platforms (LMS)

OTHER SKILLS

• Demonstrated ability to make decisions by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives and propose quality solutions
• Demonstrated ability to communicate information and ideas clearly, and concisely, verbally and in writing
• Demonstrated ability to interact with peers, management and other departments in a professional manner
• Must be able to foster a positive and productive work environment, with ability to lead, build teams, and motivate staff
• Strong organizational and interpersonal management skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
• Self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail
