Role Description

The Interpreter / Translator will provide real-time language support between Japanese and local stakeholders in meetings, conferences, and on-site discussions. Responsibilities include interpreting spoken communication, translating written documents such as emails, reports, and business materials, and ensuring that meaning, tone, and context are accurately conveyed. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and clients, preparing terminology lists or glossaries, and maintaining confidentiality of all communications and documents. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cavite, requiring consistent presence to support day-to-day operations and coordination with Japanese business partners.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Japanese and English (and/or Filipino), with the ability to interpret spoken conversations and translate written materials accurately.
• Solid understanding of business communication and cross-cultural interaction, ideally with experience working with Japanese companies or clients.
• Attention to detail and excellent comprehension skills to ensure precise, context-aware translation and interpretation.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams on-site.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and maintain professionalism in fast-paced business environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Communication, International Studies, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience as an interpreter or translator in a corporate or industrial setting is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Cavite and adapt to business schedules as needed.
