Job summary

Advanced Energy in the Philippines is seeking a Logistics Supervisor (Shipping) to oversee outbound logistics at the 3PL warehouse, ensuring timely and compliant shipments. You will manage shipment execution, transportation coordination, export documentation, and carrier performance to meet DIFOT targets.

You will work with Planning, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Logistics, Trade Compliance, and 3PL partners to drive efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Sr.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; APICS/Lean Six Sigma a plus.
• 5–7 years in shipping/logistics with 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with domestic and international freight, export docs, and PEZA compliance.
• Proficient in SAP/ERP and advanced MS Excel.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outbound shipping, ensuring orders are picked, packed, documented, and shipped on time.
• Coordinate shipment planning, scheduling, and expedited requests to meet DIFOT targets.
• Ensure accuracy of shipping/export docs including invoices, packing lists, airway bills, and customs docs.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve delays with carriers and brokers.
• Lead day-to-day shipping ops in 3PL warehouse, KPI management, and safety culture.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Trade Compliance, Inventory Control, Quality, and 3PL partners.
• Willing to be based in Laguna with travel to Cavite and other locations as required.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Logistics Supervisor (Shipping) oversees outbound logistics operations within Advanced Energy’s 3PL warehouse in the Philippines, ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant shipment of materials and finished goods. The role manages shipment execution, transportation coordination, export documentation, carrier performance, and shipping compliance to achieve DIFOT targets.

Working closely with Planning, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Logistics, Trade Compliance, Inventory Control, Quality, transportation providers, and 3PL partners, the Shipping Supervisor drives efficient customer fulfillment, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

This role will be reporting to Sr. Manager, Logistics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee end-to-end outbound shipping operations, ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packed, documented, and shipped on time for domestic and international destinations.
• Manage shipment planning, scheduling, transportation coordination, and expedited requests to achieve DIFOT targets and support customer and manufacturing requirements.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of shipping and export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, airway bills, bills of lading, and customs-related requirements.
• Monitor shipment status, provide visibility updates, and proactively resolve delivery issues, delays, and transportation disruptions in coordination with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and stakeholders.
• Lead day-to-day shipping operations within the 3PL warehouse, including workload distribution, employee training, KPI management, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Trade Compliance, Inventory Control, Quality, and 3PL partners to ensure seamless order fulfillment and operational excellence.
• Willing to be based in Laguna, Philippines, with periodic travel to Cavite, airports, seaports, and other operational locations as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Transportation Management, or a related field; professional certifications in APICS, International Trade & Customs, PEZA Compliance, Lean Six Sigma, or Logistics are an advantage.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in shipping, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations, including 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international freight operations, shipping processes, transportation management, export documentation, customs procedures, and PEZA/trade compliance requirements.
• Proven experience managing domestic and international shipments, coordinating with freight forwarders and transportation providers, and supporting manufacturing, distribution, or 3PL operations.
• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems, with advanced Microsoft Excel, reporting, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and coordination capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and support customer-critical shipments and service level commitments.
