Job summary

Sunlight Express Airways is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee the receiving, storage, inventory control, dispatch, and delivery of operational supplies and equipment essential to airline operations.

You will coordinate with Flight Operations, Ground Operations, Maintenance and Procurement to ensure timely availability of materials, monitor stock, and maintain accurate records while upholding safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise logistics activities supporting airline operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, dispatch, and delivery of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure timely availability and distribution of materials to offices, airport facilities, and locations.
• Coordinate with departments to address logistics requirements and prevent disruptions.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and replenishment needs to ensure essential items are available.
• Oversee proper handling, storage, and documentation of aviation-related materials and equipment.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders and transport providers for timely deliveries.
• Monitor supplier performance and logistics costs to improve efficiency and minimize delays.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory records, delivery receipts and stock issuance forms.
• Establish inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies, losses and waste.
• Supervise logistics personnel, assign tasks and monitor performance for productivity and compliance.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory status, delivery performance and logistics expenses.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety, and aviation regulations.

• Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and replenishment requirements to ensure the availability of essential operational items.




• Oversee the proper handling, storage, and documentation of aviation-related materials and equipment, as applicable to the assigned scope.




• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, transport providers, and other logistics partners to ensure timely and complete deliveries.




• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and logistics costs, and implement measures to improve efficiency and minimize delays.




• Ensure the accuracy of inventory records, delivery receipts, stock issuance forms, and other logistics documentation.




• Establish and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize stock discrepancies, losses, and unnecessary expenditures.




• Supervise logistics personnel, assign daily tasks, and monitor performance to ensure productivity and compliance with established procedures.




• Prepare regular reports on inventory status, delivery performance, logistics expenses, and other operational concerns.




• Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety requirements, and applicable aviation regulations relevant to the logistics function.
