Job Description

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of finished goods and raw materials within the corrugated manufacturing facility. This role ensures timely delivery of corrugated products to customers, proper inventory management, and coordination between production, warehouse, and transportation teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise daily logistics operations including receiving, storage, dispatch, and transportation of corrugated boxes and related materials.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of finished goods to customers according to delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with production planning to align shipment schedules with manufacturing output.
• Monitor and optimize transportation routes and delivery schedules to minimize costs.
• Oversee proper storage and handling of finished goods and raw materials such as kraft paper, adhesives, and other packaging materials.
• Ensure accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
• Maintain proper documentation of inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Prevent product damage, loss, or discrepancies.
• Supervise logistics staff including warehouse personnel, forklift operators, and delivery coordinators.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor team performance.
• Provide training and guidance on warehouse safety, material handling, and logistics procedures.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Sales, and Planning teams regarding delivery schedules and customer requirements.
• Communicate with the Purchasing department regarding incoming raw materials.
• Resolve logistics-related issues affecting production or customer delivery.
• Monitor company vehicles used for product delivery.
• Ensure proper scheduling, maintenance coordination, and documentation of fleet operations.
• Verify delivery documents such as delivery receipts and shipping manifests.
• Prepare logistics and delivery performance reports.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, loading efficiency, and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain records of shipments, delivery confirmations, and logistics costs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and government regulations.
• Enforce proper handling of materials and safe warehouse practices.
• Investigate and report logistics incidents, damages, or delivery discrepancies.
