Job summary

OptiHR Business Solutions Inc. is seeking a Pricing and Revenue Analyst to help shape pricing decisions, evaluate account profitability, monitor revenue performance, and identify opportunities to improve yield.

You will collaborate with Sales to ensure rates are commercially sound and correctly implemented. Key responsibilities include developing rates, profitability analyses, monthly revenue reviews by service product, and maintaining pricing databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least two years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, revenue management, pricing, profitability analysis, or a related function.
• CPA qualification is an advantage but not required.
• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or a related industry is preferred.
• Strong numerical, financial-analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, reporting, and database management.
• High attention to detail and accuracy when working with rates and financial information.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with Sales and other internal stakeholders.
• Willing and able to work fully onsite

Responsibilities

• Support the Sales Team in developing rates and analyzing the profitability of existing and prospective accounts.
• Prepare profitability analyses for key accounts and co-loader accounts.
• Monitor monthly revenue performance by service product.
• Ensure approved and agreed rates are accurately and promptly updated.
• Support demand forecasting and revenue-management activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve yield by offering the right price to the right customer at the right time.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on customer segments, pricing, revenue, and profitability.
• Prepare, distribute, monitor, and consolidate periodic production reports for accounts with special arrangements.
• Maintain and update pricing and yield-management databases.
• Participate in monthly Solutions Sales and client meetings when required.
• Perform other related responsibilities assigned by Sales or Revenue and Yield Management leadership.
