Job summary

Central Lumber Corporation is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, and to ensure efficient delivery processes.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Engineering, Logistics, or related field and 2-4 years in logistics or supply chain, with strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills to manage costs and coordinate with warehouse and procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 2–4 years of proven experience in logistics or supply chain, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Extensive background in transportation, sourcing, and cost management.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor transportation and delivery activities.
• Monitor and control logistics costs, ensuring efficiency and budget compliance.
• Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and other departments for smooth operations.
• Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of logistics transactions and prepare performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and government regulations.
• Lead and manage logistics staff, including training and performance evaluation.
