Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least some relevant driving experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license with restrictions A, A1, B, B1, B2, C and D.

Responsibilities

• Perform checklist of truck to ensure all safety equipment and supplies are available.
• Report mechanical issues to Mechanic and correct before driving.
• Coordinate with Logistics Coordinator regarding delivery schedules.
• Check all documents necessary for driving.
• Observe traffic rules inside and outside PEZA zone areas.
• Secure cargo and balance it within the vehicle.
• Plan routes and ensure meeting delivery schedules.
• Assist helper in unloading when urgent delivery is required.
• Perform daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning).
• Interact with customers in a professional manner.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection reports.
• Generate daily itinerary report with Time Out/In and waiting/unloading times.

JOB DUTIES:

1. Perform checklist of truck to ensure all safety equipment and supplies are available.

2. Ensure any mechanical issues with the vehicle are reported to Mechanic and corrected before driving.

3. Communicate and coordinate with Logistics Coordinator regarding delivery schedules.

4. Check all documents necessary for driving.

5. During delivery, observe and follow applicable traffic rules and regulations inside and outside PEZA zone areas.

6. Secure cargo and properly arrange and balance it within the vehicle.

7. Planning routes and ensure meeting delivery schedule.

8. Assists helper in unloading of items specially at times when urgent delivery is required.

9. Perform daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.).

10. Interact with customers in a professional manner.

11. Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection reports.

12. Generate daily itinerary report and record below important details:
