The Logistics Associate – Global Freight supports day‑to‑day logistics operations to meet customer commitments accurately, timely and efficiently. The role ensures that all customer documentation requirements are prepared, verified and submitted while coordinating with customers and vendors. The position is ideal for fresh graduates to build a career in global logistics and supply chain management within a multinational shared services environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure and monitor that customer requirements are properly documented, verified, recorded in the Logistics Procedure (LP) and Account Matrix Profile.
- Deliver vendor documents to customers in a timely, accurate, complete manner.
- Liaise and advise customers/vendors on incomplete or inaccurate documents that could affect cargo delivery.
- Execute and adhere to customers’ service and documentation requirements as specified in the LPs.
- Handle problem resolution by addressing issues immediately and escalating to Supervisors when potential cost or service impact.
- Build and strengthen customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and service continuity.
- Identify service gaps, recommend process improvements, and assist in implementing solutions to improve customer experience.
- Ensure all customer reports are completed accurately and delivered on time.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Customs Administration, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; relevant internship or exposure in supply chain or logistics is a plus.
- Strong interest in global freight operations and logistics coordination.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proven listening and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with SAP or logistics systems is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global, team‑oriented, fast‑paced environment.
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and eagerness to learn and grow within the organization.
