Job summary

optiBPO in Angeles City, Pampanga is seeking a motivated Logistics & Purchasing Officer to join our growing team. You will source and purchase goods locally and internationally, coordinate freight, manage customs, and ensure stock accuracy to support smooth operations.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with overseas suppliers, and proficiency in MS Office. Knowledge of Dynamics 365 (F&O) and NETSTOCK is a plus. Office-based role with morning shift.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain roles.
• Experience with overseas suppliers and international freight.
• Working knowledge of customs processes and freight documentation.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase goods from local and overseas suppliers.
• Raise purchase orders accurately and in line with policy.
• Obtain competitive pricing and negotiate savings on each order.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure consistent performance.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply discrepancies.
• Assist with onboarding new product lines.
• Create product and supplier reports that enable business improvement.
• Identify supply risks and supply improvement opportunities.
• Resolve pricing and purchasing discrepancies promptly.
• Manage stock supply distribution between business sites.
• Manage international freight (Air & Sea) including quoting, booking, tracking, and providing regular timeline updates.
• Organise local freight and communicate pick-ups where required.
• Handle customs clearance requirements and manage tariff concession searches and classifications.
• Review national freight charges, validate carrier invoices, and negotiate rates with logistics partners.
• Manage freight discrepancies and collaborate with Finance to secure credits where applicable.
• Coordinate shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of stock.
• Maintain proactive communication with logistics providers and internal teams.
• Set up and maintain accurate part codes.
• Ensure effective stock control and data accuracy across systems.
• Organise warranties and returns to supplier where necessary.
• Undertake Stock Analyst responsibilities as required.
• Set up and manage voyages in Microsoft Dynamics F&O.

Job Description

The Logistics & Purchasing Officer is responsible for the efficient sourcing, purchasing, and movement of goods across domestic and international supply chains. This role ensures accurate procurement, timely freight coordination, effective customs management, and accurate stock processing to support seamless operations and superior customer service.

This position plays a critical role in balancing cost, timelines, supplier performance, and stock accuracy across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing & Supplier Management

• Source and purchase goods from local and overseas suppliers.

Requirments

Essential
