Job summary

Alter Domus is seeking a Loan Administration Manager in the Philippines to lead a team of Loan Administrator Officers and Senior Officers in delivering high-quality service for Private Debt portfolios. You will drive process improvement and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely client responses.

The role requires 6–8 years in asset management, leadership experience, and strong knowledge of fund accounting and eFront.

Qualifications

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in asset management, preferably within fund administrators or the Big Four.
  • Strong knowledge of Fund structures, Private Debt and eFront.
  • A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience is required.
  • Understand fund accounting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Be a subject matter expert on Private Debt transactions and resolve high complexity day-to-day situations.
  • Develop and support the team by providing a framework for adherence to procedures and policies, and training.
  • Supervise a team (15+ members) with regular 1:1s and foster a positive work environment.
  • Build and maintain relationships while leading trainings to enhance team capabilities.
  • Ensure client deliverables are entered in workflow planner and resources allocated.
  • Liaise with external parties and internal account management teams for timely responses to client inquiries.
  • Learn to process all fund lifecycle events for portfolios containing multiple asset types.
  • Review and distribute portfolio and cash reconciliations and customized reporting to clients.
  • Interact with Loan Admin, Fund Admin, Technology, Asset Services, Recon, Trade Settlement, Trustees, and Banks.
  • Serve as escalation point for servicing issues and concerns.
  • Represent the team in platform-wide initiatives and drive system/process changes.
  • Proactively run medium complexity projects and provide solutions beyond immediate area.
  • Keep supervisor informed with constructive solutions and oversee assigned tasks.

Your role
As a Loan Administration Manager at Alter Domus, you will lead and inspire a team of Loan Administrator Officers and Senior Officers driving excellence in service delivery, team development, and operational efficiency. You will be a trusted partner to our clients, a strategic voice within the Finance Operations department, and a champion for innovation and continuous improvement. This is a leadership role for a seasoned finance professional who is passionate about alternative investments, people management, and building high-performing teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Your responsibilities
  • Be a subject matter expert on Private Debt transactions and procedures and can resolve high complexity day-to-day situations and requests.
  • Develop and support the team by providing a framework for adherence to procedures and policies, ensuring that Senior Officers and Officers receive adequate training and constructive support.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills by supervising a team (15– members), conducting regular 1:1s to engage with team members, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Build and maintain internal and external relationships while organizing and leading training sessions to enhance team knowledge and capabilities.
  • Ensure client deliverables are input in workflow planner and adequate resources are allocated to ensure staff are fully utilized.
  • Liaise with external parties and cooperate with internal account management teams to ensure timely response to credit client inquiries.
  • Learn to process allfundlife cycle events for portfolios containing multiple asset types.
  • Review and distributeportfolio and cashreconciliations and customized daily/monthly reporting to clients.
  • Effectively interact with internal and external parties including Loan Admin, Fund Admin, Technology, Asset Services, Recon, Trade Settlement, Trustees, and Agent Banks.
  • Serves as the escalation point for internal and external parties on unresolved servicing issues and concerns.
  • Represents the team in platform-wide initiatives (e.g. handover, onboarding), provides solution-oriented guidance to stakeholders, and proactively voices potential concerns.
  • Proactively runs medium complexity projects or initiates independently and drives Team-relevant system and process changes and enhancements.
  • Provides his/her superior with constructive and meaningful solutions beyond their immediate area of responsibility and keeps on the oversight of all assigned tasks.
Your profile
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in asset management, preferably within fund administrators or the Big Four, is highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of Fund structures, Private Debt and eFront.
  • A minimum of2years of leadership experience is required.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of fund accounting processes.
  • Advanced Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)&Strong Excel skills preferred.
  • Proficient in reviewing complex processes, managing escalated client issues, and nurturing client relationships.
  • Skilled in establishing and monitoring key performance metrics to enhance team performance and operational efficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Happy to work as part of an international team;
  • A strong interest to learn and develop a strong career in fund administration in Philippines and other international offices.
