Job summary

NXT STUDIOS MANILA is seeking an experienced Livestreaming Operator to serve as the technical backbone of our live broadcasts. Based in our production studio, you will lead end-to-end execution of professional livestreams, starting with TikTok Live and expanding to other platforms as operations grow.

The ideal candidate has hands-on livestreaming experience, mastery of OBS Studio and vMix, and a calm, solution-focused approach under pressure to deliver high-quality, engaging content.

Qualifications

• 1 year livestreaming operator experience is required.
• Fluency in English for technical documentation and cross-platform communication.
• Experience with TikTok Live ecosystem and backend creator tools.
• Ability to monitor stream health data and technical metrics to improve reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the comprehensive technical setup and execution of daily livestreams, primarily on TikTok Live, with roadmap for future multi-platform expansion.
• Operate, configure, and troubleshoot professional broadcast equipment including multi-camera setups, lighting grids, audio mixers, and switchers.
• Manage streaming software and encoders (e.g., OBS Studio, vMix) to ensure high-definition, low-latency broadcasts.
• Perform real-time troubleshooting during live sessions to resolve network fluctuations, audio issues, or platform glitches.
• Oversee staging, utilization, and day-to-day maintenance of the broadcast studio and sets.
• Manage inventory, lifecycle, and preventive maintenance schedules for broadcast technology and hardware.
• Implement SOPs for livestream lifecycle from pre-show checks to post-show teardown and reporting.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Livestreaming Operator to serve as the technical backbone of our live broadcast initiatives. Operating out of our production studio, you will lead the end-to-end execution of professional livestreams. Currently focused on TikTok Live, this role will eventually scale our operations across multiple social platforms. The ideal candidate has proven, hands-on experience in livestreaming operations and understands how to deliver flawless broadcast quality while supporting a natural, highly engaging content aesthetic.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the comprehensive technical setup and execution of daily livestreams, primarily on TikTok Live, while architecting the technical roadmap for future multi-platform expansion.

• Operate, configure, and troubleshoot professional broadcast equipment, including multi-camera setups, lighting grids, audio mixers, and switchers.

• Manage streaming software and encoders (e.g., OBS Studio, vMix) to ensure high-definition, low-latency broadcasts.

• Perform immediate, real-time troubleshooting during live sessions to seamlessly resolve network fluctuations, audio bugs, or platform glitches.

• Oversee the staging, optimal utilization, and day-to-day maintenance of our broadcast studio and sets.

• Manage the inventory, lifecycle, and preventive maintenance schedules for all high-value broadcast technology and hardware.

• Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the livestream lifecycle, from pre-show technical checks to post-show tear-down and reporting.

About you

• Proven, hands-on experience as a livestreaming operator, technical director, or in live digital production.

• Deep, practical knowledge of the TikTok Live ecosystem and backend creator tools, with the capability to expand operations to other major streaming platforms.

• Advanced mastery of streaming software (OBS, vMix) and a strong understanding of studio-grade A/V hardware, lighting design, and network stability management.

• Demonstrated ability to monitor stream health data and technical metrics to continuously improve broadcast reliability and quality.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm and make swift, effective decisions under the high-pressure environment of live broadcasting.

• Fluency in English is required for technical documentation and cross-platform communication.

• 1 year livestreaming operator experience required.
