Job summary

Winning Assistants LLC seeks a remote medical scribe to support healthcare providers during live consultations. You will document encounters in real time using Nudge AI and maintain precise notes within eClinicalWorks (eCW).

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and efficient administrative support for clinical workflows. Requirements include at least 1 year of medical scribing experience, familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, and strong medical terminology skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a medical scribe or in real-time clinical documentation.
• Orthopedic or family medicine experience preferred.
• EMR/EHR systems experience preferred but not required.
• Strong medical terminology and documentation standards knowledge.
• Ability to collect patient histories, review medications and assist with questionnaires.
• Familiarity with AI-powered medical scribing tools like Nudge AI.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Maintain patient confidentiality during live consultations.

Responsibilities

• Support healthcare providers during live patient consultations by documenting encounters in real time.
• Use Nudge AI to capture, review, edit, and organize clinical notes for accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate with patients, including video visits, to collect histories and review medications.
• Update and maintain accurate patient records in eClinicalWorks (eCW).
• Document and coordinate orders and referrals as directed by providers.
• Review AI-generated notes to identify missing information and correct errors.
• Follow up on incomplete notes and pending referrals between encounters.
• Provide administrative support to ensure efficient clinical workflows.
• Prepare daily notes, orders, and referrals for provider review and sign-off.

Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Mountain Daylight Time Monday - Friday

Salary rate: $7

Key Responsibilities:

• Support healthcare providers during live patient consultations by accurately documenting clinical encounters in real time.
• Utilize Nudge AI to capture, review, edit, and organize clinical notes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and clarity.
• Communicate directly with patients, including through video consultations when needed, to collect medical histories, review medications, and assist with pre-consultation questionnaires.
• Update, organize, and maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation in eClinicalWorks (eCW).
• Document and coordinate provider-directed medical orders, including laboratory tests, X-rays, diagnostic imaging requests, and specialist referrals.
• Review AI-generated clinical notes to identify missing information, correct documentation errors, and ensure all relevant patient details are accurately recorded.
• Follow up on incomplete clinical notes, outstanding documentation, and pending referrals between patient encounters.
• Provide administrative and documentation support to healthcare providers to ensure efficient clinical workflows and seamless patient consultations.
• Prepare and organize clinical notes, medical orders, referrals, and related documentation at the end of each day for the provider's final review and sign-off.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a medical scribe or in a similar role involving real-time clinical documentation and direct support to healthcare providers is required.
• Clinical or administrative experience in orthopedic or family medicine settings highly preferred.
• Experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW) or other EMR/EHR systems is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation standards.
• Ability to collect patient medical histories, review medications, and assist with medical questionnaires.
• Familiarity with Nudge AI or other AI-powered medical scribing and documentation tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently during live consultations while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Basic Requirements

• Must speak and write English clearly and professionally.
• Must have relevant work experience.
• Must be able to provide an NBI Clearance and/or Local Police Clearance before onboarding (mandatory).
• Must be available to attend video meetings with camera on when required.
