Responsibilities

• Assists the Head Litigation in filing legal pleadings such as foreclosure petitions and ejectment/unlawful detainer complaints.
• Conducts legal research on facts, laws, and jurisprudence relevant to cases.
• Coordinates with private and government agencies for research, inquiries and verification.
• Represents the Association in public bidding for foreclosure property auctions.
• Monitors the status of pending cases and drafts status reports.

Job description

• Assists the Head Litigation in the filing of legal pleadings including but not limited to petitions for foreclosure and complaints for ejectment/unlawful detainer.

• Paralegal certification or legal studies background required at hiring.

• Conducts legal research on factual background of and applicable laws and/or jurisprudence to legal issues/disputes.

• 1-2 years of legal experience required for this position.

• Coordinates with private and government agencies for research, inquiries and verification.

• Represents the Association in the public bidding for the auction sale of foreclose properties.

• Consolidates titles of foreclosed properties.

• Drafts the Plans and Programs of the Litigation and Prosecution Sector for correction by the Head Litigation .

• Monitors the status of pending cases.

• Drafts reports on the status of cases handled by the Litigation and Prosecution Sector for correction by the Head Litigation .

• Drafts contracts, pleadings, memoranda, reports and other communications for review of the Head Litigation .

• Basic legal document drafting skills required for contract and pleading preparation.
