Job summary

Home Credit Philippines is seeking a Paralegal to support the Litigation Division. The role involves assisting Lawyers, monitoring case progress, attending hearings when allowed, filing pleadings, and organizing case files. Strong communication and proficiency in MS Word and Excel are required.

The position requires 1–2 years of paralegal experience, willingness to travel nationwide, and the ability to draft simple documents. This role supports the CLO and Sr.

  • File and serve pleadings and allied documents.
  • Organize and update case files.

Job description

The primary role is assist Lawyers under the Litigation Division in handling cases filed by or against HC Consumer Finance Philippines, Inc. (HCPH) in the Courts or Quasi-Judicial Bodies as directed by the Chief Legal Officer (CLO) and the Sr. Litigation Lawyer and to provide services allied thereto.

What You’ll Do:
  • Assist Lawyers in Handling Cases under the Litigation Division
  • Monitoring of the progress of cases including following up with the court or Quasi-Judicial Agency
  • Attending meetings and hearings (in cases permitted by the relevant Rules, Policies and Practices)
  • Filing and Service of Pleadings and other allied documents
  • Organizing and Updating the case files
  • Drafting simple pleadings, letters, documents, needed by Litigation Lawyers.
  • Maintain good business relationship with other departments by rendering appropriate assistance.
What You Need To Have:
  • 1 to 2 years experience as a Paralegal;
  • Willing to travel nationwide
  • Good written and oral communication skills;
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
