Home Credit Philippines is seeking a Litigation Lawyer to represent the company in criminal, civil, and labor cases, protecting the company’s rights and interests across various actions.

You will attend hearings, draft pleadings ahead of deadlines, conduct legal research, and provide timely reports. The role also involves reviewing anti‑fraud endorsed cases and collaborating with senior counsel for case strategy.

Qualifications

• Member of the Philippine Bar in good standing.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Good pleading writing and legal research skills.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Amenable to travel locally.

Responsabilités

• Attend hearings before the Courts and Quasi-Judicial Bodies on behalf of Home Credit Philippines and related entities.
• Draft and submit pleadings ahead of deadlines.
• Render legal opinions, conduct legal research, and attend litigation meetings.
• Provide reports and documentation as required by the company.
• Review cases endorsed by Anti-Fraud and escalate to Deputy Litigation Lawyer.

The primary role of the Litigation Lawyer is to represent the company in criminal, civil as well as labor cases and other actions that may be filed by and/or against the company to assure that the interests and rights of the company are protected and maintained.

What You’ll Do:

• Attend hearings before the Courts and Quasi-Judicial Bodies in representation of Home Credit Philippines and other person or entity as may be assigned by the Chief Legal Officer for the protection of the interest of Home Credit Philippines;
• Draft and submit pleadings on time. “On time” is defined as 1 day ahead of the deadline imposed by the Rules or Order of the Court / Quasi-Judicial Bodies;
• Render legal opinions, conduct legal research, and attend meetings related to litigation;
• Provide and submit necessary reports and documentations as required by the company;
• Review and assess cases endorsed by Anti-Fraud and submit the same to the Deputy Litigation Lawyer;

What You Need To Have:

• Member of the Philippine Bar in good standing

• Proficient in MS Word and Excel;
• Amenable to travel locally
