Job summary

Mesa San Mateo in Rizal, San Mateo, Philippines, is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will set up and stock stations, and cook menu items to exact specifications, ensuring every plate meets our quality standards.

You will maintain cleanliness and safety, operate grills, fryers, and ovens, and coordinate with the Chef and Sous Chef to keep orders flowing smoothly and on time. Strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations (mise en place) with all necessary supplies, ingredients, and equipment before the shift starts.
• Cook menu items to the exact specifications and standards set by the Chef (recipes, portion controls, and presentation).
• Operate and maintain various cooking equipment (grills, fryers, ovens, etc.) safely and effectively.
• Ensure food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the station, equipment, and storage areas throughout the shift.
• Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations (e.g., proper food storage and temperature control).
• Communicate effectively with the Chef, Sous Chef, and other Line Cooks to coordinate timing and order flow.
