Job summary

BABYSPICE FOOD CORPORATION is seeking a Line Cook to prepare and plate dishes in a fast-paced kitchen in Pasay, Metro Manila. You will set up stations, follow recipes, and ensure consistent quality and presentation throughout service.

The role requires knowledge of Japanese, Thai and Italian cuisine, strong teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining food safety standards. This position is on-site and suitable for candidates with kitchen experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Line Cook in F&B industry.
• Knowledge in Japanese, Thai and Italian cuisine.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing kitchen duties.
• Food safety and sanitation knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and set up the assigned station before service.
• Cook and plate menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain consistent food quality, taste, temperature, and appearance.
• Ensure timely preparation of orders during busy service periods.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Keep the assigned station clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Monitor ingredient levels and inform the supervisor of shortages or replenishment needs.
• Properly store, label, and rotate food items following FIFO procedures.
• Assist with food preparation, kitchen cleaning, and closing duties as required.
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Minimize food waste and use ingredients responsibly.
• Follow all company policies, kitchen procedures, and health regulations.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor
