Job summary

AXA Philippines is seeking a Life Claims Officer to review, assess and settle life insurance claims submitted by policyholders, employees, brokers, HR, or other authorized parties.

You will verify information, assess against policy terms, process payments, detect fraud, maintain records, and ensure regulatory compliance while coordinating with internal teams and AXA's distribution partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; paramedical course preferred but not required.
• 3+ years of experience in processing life claims or related investigations.
• Certification in insurance (CPCU, LOMA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review life claims and verify information accuracy.
• Assess claims against policy terms and exclusions.
• Process payments and ensure correct coding.
• Identify potential fraud or abuse.
• Maintain compliance with policies and regulations.
• Communicate with stakeholders to resolve queries.
• Escalate complex claims for review.
• Calculate payouts and prepare settlement letters.
• Maintain detailed claim records.
• Contribute to process improvements.
