Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a detail-oriented policy servicing associate in a hybrid role based in Manila. You will execute back-office processes to update policy records for life and annuities clients, ensuring data accuracy and timely resolution of requests across shifts in a multilingual environment.

You will handle policy changes, document validation, and reporting while following standard operating procedures and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of policy administration or back-office experience.
• Proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of life and annuities concepts.
• Strong English reading/writing/speaking skills.
• Detail-oriented with analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Update policy records and process change requests within timelines.
• Perform end-to-end back-office tasks for life and annuities policy administration using MS Office.
• Handle policy changes, premium adjustments, and beneficiary updates.
• Review source documents for completeness and accuracy before processing.
• Maintain daily trackers and reports in spreadsheets to monitor volume and turnaround time.
• Communicate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies impacting servicing workflows.
• Adhere to rotational shifts and time-critical processes with proper handovers.
• Ensure data confidentiality and escalate exceptions to supervisors as required.
• Utilize MS Office to format correspondence and prepare summaries for process improvement discussions.
• Identify recurring issues and document findings to suggest improvements.
