Job summary

The Delmar Gardens Family's Garden Villas South in St. Louis, Missouri is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse to support the Director of Nursing and deliver high-quality, person-centered care to residents.

The LPN will perform nursing services, assess residents, develop and update care plans, communicate with residents, families, and physicians, supervise care staff as needed, and participate in rotating on-call.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the State of Missouri
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in geriatric medicine preferred

Responsibilities

Our beautiful independent and assisted living community is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This individual will support the Assisted Living Director of Nursing (DON) in ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centered care.

Responsibilities include providing nursing services, assessing residents’ needs, developing and updating individualized care plans, communicating with residents, family members and physicians, supervising care staff as needed, and participating in the rotating on-call schedule.

The successful candidates will be licensed in the State of Missouri, possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working in geriatric medicine. Prior long-term care experience is a plus, and familiarity with MatrixCare is preferred.
