Job summary

GENERIKA Drugstore is seeking a licensed pharmacist in the Philippines to ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medicines while delivering professional pharmaceutical care and excellent customer service in-store.

The pharmacist will review prescriptions, counsel customers, manage medicine storage, and maintain records to meet regulatory requirements. Fresh board passers are welcome; shift work may be required to support store operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
• Licensed Pharmacist.
• Fresh board passers are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with or without work experience are welcome.
• Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage.
• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work effectively with store and support teams.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules and render additional hours when required by store operations.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescription and over-the-counter medicines.
• Provide proper medication counseling and instructions to customers.
• Review prescriptions for completeness, appropriate dosage, and potential drug interactions.
• Advise customers on proper medication use, storage, precautions, and possible side effects.
• Ensure medicines are properly received, stored, handled, and monitored.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and required documentation.
• Monitor the validity of the store's License to Operate and other applicable regulatory permits.
• Support compliance with FDA and other government regulatory requirements.
• Receive and properly document adverse drug reactions and product quality complaints.
• Coordinate and report relevant safety information to the Pharmacovigilance team.
• Support pharmacy interns and participate in pharmacy-related programs and activities as required.
• Perform other pharmacy-related duties necessary to ensure safe and efficient store operations.
