Job summary

MEBS Construction OPC is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer to join as QA/QC Civil Engineer. You will monitor construction works, conduct site inspections, review materials, and coordinate with project teams to ensure quality across multiple projects.

The role requires strong inspection, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to identify defects and implement corrective actions on site.

Qualifications

• Licensed Civil Engineer with QA/QC experience.
• Experience in construction supervision or site engineering.
• Strong knowledge of structural and civil works.
• Familiarity with drawings, specifications, BOQ, and QC procedures.
• Detail-oriented with good inspection and documentation skills.
• Able to identify defects and propose corrective actions.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect construction works to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
• Review construction materials, workmanship, and installation before approval.
• Identify defects, non-conforming works, and quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Architects, Structural Engineers, subcontractors, and project management.
• Review approved drawings, BOQ, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare QA/QC inspection reports, punch lists, and other quality documentation.
• Ensure corrective works are properly completed before acceptance.
• Monitor compliance with applicable building codes, engineering standards, and project specifications.
• Assist management in maintaining consistent construction quality across all projects.
