Job summary

SGS Philippines in Makati is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to perform analyses as defined in the Matrix of Laboratory Tests and report results per QMS. You will prepare reagents, calibrate equipment, maintain records and contribute to proficiency programs.

You're expected to follow SOPs, ensure accuracy of data, and support the Laboratory Operations team while upholding SGS quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires university or college degree in a related science.
• Licensed Chemist or Chemical Technician preferred.
• Familiarity with QMS and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs sampling, testing and analyses per the Matrix of Laboratory Tests.
• Prepares reagents and standard solutions as per standard methods.
• Operates and maintains laboratory equipment.
• Prepares and updates reports with statistical data and uncertainties.
• Coaches junior lab staff and trainees.
• Maintains 5S and safe working conditions.
