Zusammenfassung

SGS (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in the Philippines seeks a qualified Laboratory Analyst to perform sampling, testing and analyses in accordance with the Matrix of Laboratory Tests and the QMS. You will prepare reagents, operate equipment, document results and coach junior staff while upholding safety, ethics and SGS policies.

The role requires a university degree in chemistry or related sciences and a licensed chemist or chemical technician status; English communication skills preferred and adherence to

Qualifikationen

University or college degree in Chemistry or related sciences.
Licensed Chemist or Chemical Technician.

Aufgaben

Performs sampling, testing and analyses per Matrix of Laboratory Tests and QMS policies.
Prepares reagents and standard solutions and calibrates volumetric solutions.
Operates and maintains equipment used in analyses.
Reads, understands and follows standard operating procedures.
Analyzes and interprets standard lab results including QC charts and measurement uncertainty.
Prepares and updates reports with statistical QC and uncertainty data.
Signs worksheets and job instructions.
Maintains routine documentation and records data precisely.
Coaches lab analysts and technicians on testing procedures and sample prep.
