Job Description

• Process sales transactions for firearms, ammunition, and related merchandise using the POS system
• Verify customer identification and required permits/licenses before completing firearm and ammunition sales
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national firearm regulations and company policies
• Issue official receipts, invoices, and maintain accurate transaction records
• Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift
• Assist customers with basic inquiries regarding products, pricing, and store policies
• Coordinate with sales associates or authorized personnel for firearm release procedures
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive customer and transaction information
• Report any suspicious transactions or activities to management immediately
• Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and secure at all times
• Documentation & Licensing: Prepare, process, and follow up on firearm applications, renewals, and registrations with government agencies.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all company firearms, security personnel licenses, and permits are updated and adhere to current regulations.
• External Liaison: Build relationships and coordinate with PNP, security agencies, and external partners.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed, accurate records of all firearm-related documents, inventory, and licensing status.
• Reporting: Present status reports to management regarding licensing and compliance.
