Responsibilities

• Ensure that assigned vehicle is clean and well maintained at all times
• Carry out routine checks on vehicles and ensure they are sound
• Perform daily maintenance on vehicles, such as changing batteries and motor oil at appropriate time, as well as refueling the vehicle
• Precisely complete all paper work connected with the delivery/transaction before the scheduled travel
• Ensure timely transport of items/orders to areas where they are needed as instructed by supervisor or the manager
• Pay bills and do bank transactions
• Recognize electrical and mechanical faults and report to the employer or technician
• Report any instance of damage, mishap or accident to the supervisor
• Keep up a travel log to record areas travelled to, travel time, and work hours
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the management
