Job summary

Prudential Services Asia is seeking a legal professional to support the Legal and Corporate Governance requirements of the Company and its subsidiaries in the Philippines. The role involves providing legal advice to business units on day‑to‑day operations, drafting and negotiating contracts, managing regulatory filings, and ensuring compliance with internal policies.

You will monitor compliance standards, improve legal workflows, and prepare reports for regional and group offices.

Qualifications

Provides legal advice to business units on day‑to‑day operational, commercial, and regulatory matters.
Drafts, reviews, and negotiates contracts, agreements, and legal documents within prescribed turnaround times.
Identifies legal risks and proposes practical risk‑mitigating solutions aligned with Company policies.

Responsibilities

Handles function‑relevant regulatory filings for the Company and its subsidiaries.
Monitors and implements policies, standards or guidelines owned by the Legal Department.
Maintains an organized system for contract and legal document safekeeping and retrieval.
Supports improvements to legal workflows, templates, and turnaround times.
Prepares function‑relevant reports for regional and group offices and the Company.
Liaises with government offices and other competent authorities as required.
Provides support for corporate governance and secretarial matters, including board materials and minutes.
