Job summary

Advance Law LLC in Singapore seeks a Legal Associate to join the Litigation Department. You will handle civil and commercial matters from inception to resolution, conduct research, draft pleadings, attend hearings, and manage deadlines.

The successful candidate is called to the Singapore Bar, with 1–3 years PQE, strong drafting and advocacy skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Called to the Singapore Bar and eligible to practise in Singapore.
• 1–3 years’ PQE in litigation preferred.
• Strong legal research, drafting and advocacy skills.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently, manage deadlines and handle multiple matters.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a range of civil and commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution.




• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, affidavits, submissions and other court documents.




• Attend court hearings, case conferences and client meetings.




• Manage files, deadlines and correspondence independently.




• Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, experts and other relevant parties.




• Assist in matters involving personal injury, contractual disputes, debt recovery, insolvency and general civil litigation.

Requirements:
