Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, Political Science, Business Administration or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in legal or compliance work, preferably in energy or infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of Philippine corporate, energy and environmental regulations is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and document management systems.
  • Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts, agreements, and corporate resolutions.
  • Prepare and review contracts related to land acquisition, leases, right-of-way, and easements for renewable energy projects.
  • Ensure land-related contracts comply with property, environmental, and energy laws.
  • Maintain accurate records of legal documents and filing systems.
  • Monitor compliance with energy sector regulations, environmental laws, and governance requirements.
  • Support reports to regulatory agencies (DOE, ERC, DENR).
  • Assist in maintaining corporate records, board resolutions, and SEC filings.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to meet reporting obligations on time.
  • Identify potential compliance risks and escalate to Legal and Compliance Manager.
  • Support internal audits and compliance checks.

About the role

To support the legal and compliance functions of the company by assisting in the drafting, review, and management of contracts and corporate documentation, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and facilitating compliance processes for renewable energy projects, including land acquisition activities.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts, agreements, and corporate resolutions

  • Prepare and review contracts relative to land acquisition, lease agreements, right-of-way, and easements necessary for renewable energy projects

  • Ensure that land-related contracts comply with applicable property, environmental and energy laws

  • Maintain accurate records of legal documents and ensure proper filing systems

  • Monitor compliance with energy sector regulations, environmental laws, and corporate governance requirements

  • Support the preparation and submission of reports to regulatory agencies (e.g., DOE, ERC, DENR)

  • Assist in maintaining corporate records, board resolutions, and statutory filings with SEC

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely compliance with reporting obligations

  • Identify potential compliance risks and elevate issues to the Legal and Compliance Manager

  • Support internal audits and compliance checks

About you
  • Bachelor's Degree in Legal Management, Political Science, Business Administration, or related field

  • At least 2–4years of experience in legal or compliance work (preferably in the energy or infrastructure sector)

  • Knowledge of Philippine corporate, energy, and environmental regulations is an advantage

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office and document management systems

  • Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments
