Job Summary: This role leads the successful delivery and continuous improvement of learning programs across multiple stakeholders, workstreams, and priorities. The Learning Specialist – Offshore is responsible for planning, coordinating, and advancing learning initiatives that align to business priorities and deliver measurable outcomes and high-quality learner experiences.

This role requires program leadership and advisory, demonstrating the ability to translate ambiguous business needs into structured, scalable, and outcome-driven learning solutions. It requires sound judgment, stakeholder influence, and disciplined program management. The role also drives consistency and efficiency across programs by developing frameworks, leveraging data and insights, and continuously improving how learning solutions are designed and executed across the team.

Ideal Candidate Profile: You are highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing complexity. You know how to keep work moving across multiple stakeholders, communicate clearly with leaders, and bring sound judgment to ambiguous situations. You are equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves in delivery and stepping back to improve how work gets done across the team.

Essential Functions of the Job

The key function of this position is to lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of learning programs, driving alignment to business priorities while ensuring high-quality execution, strong stakeholder engagement, and measurable outcomes.

  • Lead and support the planning, deployment, delivery, and ongoing management of learning programs and curricula aligned to business priorities.
  • Own outcomes across workstreams, timelines, and contributors, while proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and with external vendors to support effective delivery and implementation.
  • Lead meetings and working sessions with confidence and structure and communicate updates in a way that supports alignment and decision-making.
  • Support learning operations, including administration, coordination, compliance, reporting, and learner experience activities.
  • Use data and insights to evaluate program effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend actions.
  • Design and deploy impactful learning solutions using adult learning principles and best practices, with a focus on business relevance and program effectiveness.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by helping scale better ways of working, increasing consistency, and supporting strong delivery across the team.
  • Work effectively across time zones and distributed teams, ensuring smooth handoffs, strong communication, and clarity on ownership and next steps.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
  • Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet demanding timelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor communication for different audiences and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working across teams, functions, and geographies.
  • Sound judgment, problem-solving ability, and comfort navigating ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, self-starting mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Intermediate to advance proficiency in learning systems and digital collaboration tools, including SuccessFactors, Miro, and Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance learning design, delivery efficiency, and learner experience.
Other Responsibilities
  • Contribute to activities and projects across the wider Talent and Organization Development function.
  • Support the induction of new team members.
Other Requirements
  • Additional language proficiency may be considered based on region/center needs.
  • Flexibility in working hours is required to support Canada time zones through rotational shifts.
  • Willingness to work extra hours to meet special customer requirements.
Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Training and Development, or related discipline required. Diploma in Human Resources is an advantage.

Experience:

  • Experience working in Learning (or a strong interest in developing a career in Learning).
  • Experience in professional services or corporate environments, working in international and diverse teams.
  • Experience in end-to-end project/program management.
