Job summary

Karbon is seeking an Educational Content Developer to design and build self-paced learning experiences for Karbon Academy. You will own courses end to end, from needs analysis to storyboarding, build, quality review and publishing, including time-of-need content and go-to-market education in collaboration with Product, Marketing and Customer Success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design or educational content development.

Responsibilities

• Analyze learning needs with Education & Enablement Manager and SMEs to define objectives and scope before development.
• Design and develop engaging, self-paced learning experiences across formats—e-learning, video tutorials, interactive modules, microlearning, guided walkthroughs and job aids.
• Create time-of-need content like job aids and in-product guidance and go-to-market education with cross-functional teams.
• Develop assessments and knowledge checks to measure comprehension and capability beyond completion.
• Apply adult learning principles and branding guidelines with accessibility considered throughout.
• Own the quality review and move content from draft to review-ready in 1–2 rounds.
• Use AI tools to accelerate storyboard, scripting, research and asset creation, ensuring accuracy and tone before shipping.
• Contribute to how the team uses AI and document effective tools and approaches.
