Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Lean Process Engineer - ERP Readiness to support the transformation of Engineer-to-Order plants as they move from legacy systems to SAP. You will partner with plant operations, project teams, and functional stakeholders to ensure SPS Readiness actions are completed prior to ERP implementation.

The role focuses on driving process excellence, organizational readiness, and continuous improvement while supporting critical business transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Process/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • 2–3 years of manufacturing experience in a similar role.
  • Experience leading process improvement, ERP readiness, or Lean transformation.
  • Knowledge of Lean tools: Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Standard Work, Visual Management, 5S.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) required.
  • SAP experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Drive change management and continuous improvement initiatives related to SAP readiness across ETO manufacturing plants.
  • Support SPS readiness activities, including data quality, material flow optimization, warehouse design and layouts, inventory management, and planning processes.
  • Collaborate with plant teams to translate business requirements into actionable implementation plans.
  • Identify process gaps, operational risks, and project challenges, driving timely solutions.
  • Analyze operational and process data to identify opportunities for standardization and efficiency improvements.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Planning, and IT teams for alignment and sustainable process adoption.
  • Promote Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies throughout the ERP readiness journey.

Are you energized by analyzing data, improving processes, and working with cross-functional teams to drive results?

We are seeking a dedicated Lean Process Engineer - ERP Readiness to support the successful transformation of Engineer-to-Order (ETO) plants as they transition from legacy systems to the latest SAP platform.

In this role, you will partner closely with plant operations, project teams, and functional stakeholders to ensure all SPS Readiness actions are completed prior to ERP implementation. Your focus will be on driving process excellence, organizational readiness, and continuous improvement while supporting critical business transformation initiatives.

What will you do?
  • Drive change management and continuous improvement initiatives related to SAP readiness across ETO manufacturing plants.
  • Support SPS readiness activities, including data quality, material flow optimization, warehouse design and layouts, inventory management, and planning processes.
  • Collaborate closely with plant teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable implementation plans.
  • Identify process gaps, operational risks, and project challenges, while driving timely solutions to ensure implementation success.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
  • Experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and Change Management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project execution skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders across multiple functions and organizational levels.
  • Experience working in manufacturing environments, preferably Engineer-to-Order (ETO) operations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems; SAP experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) is required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline preferred.
  • Other engineering backgrounds will be considered when supported by relevant experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Operations Excellence, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading process improvement, operational excellence, Lean transformation, ERP readiness, or manufacturing projects.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Standard Work, Visual Management, 5S, and structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) is required.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience is highly desirable.
