Job summary

Amentum seeks a Lead Work Control Center Clerk to oversee the Work Control Center for a US Navy program on Diego Garcia, directing daily workflow, task assignments, and administrative operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in maintenance administration or related roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics training preferred.
• Must possess a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
• Passport valid for at least one year beyond hire date.
• Ability to obtain visas per the U.S. State Department guidance.
• Ability to meet medical, security, and deployment requirements.
• Must read, speak, and comprehend English to perform contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process work requests with proper coding and accuracy.
• Prioritize and route maintenance tasks to appropriate shops based on urgency.
• Monitor work order status and update in the maintenance system.
• Maintain logs, reports, and documentation for work orders and labor hours.
• Coordinate with supervisors and technicians to resolve discrepancies and plan work.
• Provide training and quality checks for clerks and administrative staff.
• Support scheduling, preventive maintenance planning, and workload forecasting.
• Ensure safety, security, and environmental procedure compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
