Job summary

CLSA is seeking experienced Vietnam equity analysts to lead coverage of Vietnamese-listed companies and generate high-conviction investment ideas for institutional investors.

The successful candidate will combine deep market knowledge, strong analytical skills and sound investment judgment to identify opportunities ahead of consensus and to communicate investment views clearly to clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in Business related discipline, preferably with Finance and/or Accounting major.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience from buyside or sellside.
• Proven experience as a publishing analyst covering Vietnam-listed equities.
• Deep knowledge of Vietnam's equity market, companies and investment opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead coverage of selected Vietnamese-listed companies and sectors.
• Publish actionable research and stock recommendations for institutional investors.
• Identify investment opportunities from industry, company and market developments.
• Build and maintain financial models, valuations and industry databases.
• Track earnings, company news, policy changes and macro developments.
• Present investment ideas to institutional clients.
• Develop relationships through meetings, roadshows, conferences and client calls.
• Partner with sales and trading teams to support client engagement.
• Contribute to thematic and cross-sector research initiatives.
• Support investor events, corporate access and marketing activities.
• Communicate investment views clearly to clients and colleagues.
