Job summary

Avaloq in Switzerland is seeking a Software Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated tests for the ABR/S product family, powering our SaaS and BPaaS offerings. The role bridges Avaloq's proprietary language with modern automation practices.

You will lead testing standards in Scrum/Kanban, drive test automation strategy, and collaborate across analysts, developers, and product teams. Hybrid work in the Philippines is supported, with strong focus on quality and innovation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing in enterprise software.
• Experience leading test strategy and mentoring teams.
• Ability to apply software engineering principles to test automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation architectures.
• Mentor testing team and drive code quality standards.
• Integrate test automation with Jira/Zephyr, Jenkins, and GitHub workflows.
• Write PowerShell utilities and PL/SQL queries for backend validation.
• Develop automated tests for ABR/S baseline in SaaS/BPaaS delivery.
• Translate workflows into scalable automated assets across REST, web, and desktop apps.
• Lead model-based automation and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Investigate defects and provide root-cause analysis; explore AI-assisted testing.
