Avaloq Group in Metro Manila, Philippines seeks an experienced Software Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated tests for the Avaloq suite, including ABR/S. You will lead test architecture, guide the testing team, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines within an Agile setup.

You will work with Jira, Zephyr, Jenkins, GitHub, PowerShell, PL/SQL, Tricentis Tosca, and AI-assisted testing solutions to ensure robust quality across SaaS and BPaaS offerings. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of software testing experience in enterprise software applications.
• Proven track record in a technical leadership role, driving test strategy, setting architectural standards, and mentoring team members.
• Keen eye for test architecture, with demonstrated expertise in applying standard software engineering principles to test automation tools.
• Practical experience managing test assets and agile delivery using Jira, Zephyr, and Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
• Hands-on experience integrating test suites with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and version control using GitHub.
• Scripting capabilities in PowerShell for test execution automation and environment orchestration.
• Strong database querying skills using PL/SQL, with knowledge of Oracle database administration preferred.
• Ability to work with software written in proprietary Avaloq language alongside standard software concepts.
• Experience with Tricentis Tosca is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of SaaS/BPaaS architectures and ABR/S product baseline is advantageous.
• Self-starter & Team Player with analytical rigor and quality focus.
• Continuous learning mindset in banking/financial products.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, modular test automation architectures.
• Serve as a technical authority and mentor for the testing team within Scrum/Kanban environments.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and maintain repositories in GitHub.
• Write utility scripts in PowerShell and craft PL/SQL queries to validate backend data and set up test data.
• Create, maintain, and execute automated test cases for ABR/S baseline supporting SaaS and BPaaS delivery.
• Translate complex business workflows into scalable automated test assets across web, API, desktop, and enterprise apps.
• Develop and maintain reusable test automation components based on model-based testing principles.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and product teams to ensure comprehensive coverage and quality.
• Investigate defects with root-cause insights and leverage AI-assisted testing tools where appropriate.
