Job summary

SYSTRA, a global engineering consultancy, seeks a Senior Structural Engineer in Metro Manila, Philippines. You will perform structural calculations, modelling and analysis, while leading a team of engineers to meet project requirements and safety standards.

You will coordinate with Architectural and MEPF teams, ensure constructability and cost effectiveness, and apply all relevant codes and specifications to deliver robust design solutions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of discipline local and international codes (NSCP, PD 1096, DPWH DGCS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, UBC, AASHTO, BS EN, etc.) or project specific standards, specifications, design criteria and construction methodology.
• Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (MIDAS, ETABS, RAMCon, SAFE, RAM, etc.).
• Experience with 3D modelling tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).
• Strong analytical, problem solving and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to coordinate with Architectural and MEPF disciplines.

• Knowledgeable with SAFE or equivalent foundation design software.
• Knowledgeable with FEA and RAMCon or equivalent connection design software;
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks or equivalent 3D viewer software;
• Advanced computer and software skills (structural analysis softwares and spreadsheets);
• Analytical and problem solving skills, and spatial ability; and
• Consistent initiative and leadership skills
