Job summary

Allegro MicroSystems, LLC is seeking a Lead ESG Specialist to own and execute ESG reporting across global functions. You will manage carbon accounting, supplier engagement for Scope3 data, and regulatory submissions while collaborating with the Philippines site and US HQ.

The role requires 3+ years in ESG with strong data analytics, project management, and experience with CDP/GRI/SASB frameworks. Power BI expertise and AI tooling are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in ESG/Sustainability, engineering, project management, environmental science, business or finance.
  • 3+ years in ESG, environmental sustainability, or sustainability reporting roles.
  • Strong analytical, project management and data analytics with Excel/Smartsheet.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, analyze and report on complex datasets.
  • Experience leading CDP reporting questionnaires cross‑functionally.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross‑functional alignment.
  • Experience with data management, Scope3 emissions, PCF and LCA preferred.
  • Experience with ESG assurance engagements (ISAE3000/AA1000AS) preferred.
  • Knowledge of carbon accounting software and ESG data management systems.
  • Experience with GRI, SASB, CDP and UN SDGs; GRI/SASB certification a plus.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and data visualization; AI tools in ESG reporting welcome.
  • Understanding of semiconductor product life cycles is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ESG reporting across global units for CDP Climate, Water, Forest, DJSI, SASB, and customer requests.
  • Manage carbon accounting software and ensure accurate Scope1/2/3 data per GHG standards.
  • Drive supplier engagement to improve Scope3 data with training and follow‑ups.
  • Support ESG initiatives, track milestones, and ensure on‑time reporting delivery.
  • Serve as Philippines ESG liaison between US HQ and Philippines manufacturing site.
  • Own end‑to‑end completion of customer ESG and sustainability questionnaires.
  • Monitor regulatory requirements (California SB253 and EU CSRD) and align reporting practices.
  • Track progress toward emissions, waste, supplier diversity, and renewable energy goals.
  • Develop ESG metrics, dashboards and Power BI reports for leadership decision making.
  • Apply PCF and LCA methodologies to assess environmental impact of Allegro products.
  • Collaborate with Renewable Energy team to support procurement discussions and track commitments.
  • Support annual ESG Limited Assurance audit with data and methodology.
  • Contribute data and narratives for the ESG/Sustainability Report.
  • Drive GRI/SASB disclosures; GRI/SASB certification preferred.
  • Lead Sustainability ESG Ambassadors ERG and drive employee engagement.

Job Summary

Lead ESG Specialist is an experienced professional who applies comprehensive knowledge to lead and execute ESG reporting across global business unit functions. This role is foundational to the company's sustainability program, taking ownership of carbon accounting, framework submissions, and supplier engagement for Scope3 and Product Carbon Footprint data. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Lead ESG Specialist is a key contributor to regulatory compliance efforts and a liaison between corporate headquarters and the Philippines manufacturing facility.

What You Will Do
  • Manage the implementation of ESG reporting by coordinating across global business unit functions for CDP Climate, Water, Forest, DJSI, SMR, MSCI, ISS, Sustainalytics, WBA, and customer requests.
  • Manage and maintain carbon accounting software, ensuring accurate and timely capture of Scope1, Scope2, and Scope3 emissions data in alignment with GHG Protocol standards.
  • Drive supplier engagement programs to collect, validate, and improve Scope3 Category data, including outreach, training, and follow‑up with key suppliers.
  • Support the advancement of key ESG initiatives as directed by the Director of ESG, managing multiple concurrent ESG projects across global and site‑level functions, setting priorities, tracking milestones, and ensuring on‑time delivery of reporting and program commitments.
  • Serve as the primary Philippines ESG liaison between corporate headquarters in the United States and our manufacturing facility in the Philippines for ESG related communications and activities.
  • Own the end‑to‑end completion and on‑time submission of customer ESG and sustainability questionnaires, coordinating with internal stakeholders to gather required data and ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor and support the assessment of emerging global and jurisdictional ESG regulatory requirements (California SB253 and EU CSRD), and support alignment of corporate reporting practices to meet evolving compliance obligations.
  • Track and analyze progress toward corporate goals related to emissions reductions, waste management, supplier diversity, and renewable energy adoption.
  • Develop and maintain ESG metrics, dashboards and Power BI reports to visualize performance data, support leadership decision‑making, and communicate progress against targets.
  • Apply bottom‑up ProductCarbon Footprint (PCF) and Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) methodology to assess the environmental impact of Allegro’s semiconductor products.
  • Collaborate with the Renewable Energy team at the AMPI manufacturing facility and engage with energy providers to support renewable energy procurement discussions, track commitments, and ensure requirements are met.
  • Provide substantial support for the annual ESG Limited Assurance audit, including preparing disclosure documentation, data source records, and methodology notes to support auditor review and verification.
  • Contribute data, narratives, and review cycles to support the development and publication of the annual ESG/Sustainability Report.
  • Drive the GRI and SASB reporting processes, ensuring disclosures are complete, accurate, and aligned with current framework standards; GRI or SASB certification preferred.
  • Lead the Sustainability ESG Ambassadors Employee Resource Group (ERG), serving on the Steering Committee and driving employee engagement on ESG initiatives across the Philippines site.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's degree required in a field related to ESG/Sustainability, Engineering, project management, environmental science, business, or finance.
  • 3+ years of experience in ESG, environmental sustainability, or sustainability reporting roles.
  • Strong analytical experience, project management, data analytics with expertise in Excel workbooks, Smartsheet, and similar applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, analyze and report on complex datasets.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead CDP reporting questionnaires cross‑functionally.
  • Proven ability to influence multiple stakeholders, collaborate effectively, and obtain buy‑in across cross‑functional and global teams.
  • Experience with data management, software implementation, Scope3 emissions calculations, ProductCarbon Footprint and Life Cycle Analysis is highly preferred.
  • Experience supporting ESG Limited Assurance engagements; ISAE3000 or AA1000AS assurance standards preferred; reasonable assurance engagements a plus.
  • Knowledge of carbon accounting software and ESG data management systems.
  • Experience with global ESG reporting frameworks including GRI, SASB, CDP, and UN Sustainable Development Goals; GRI Standards or SASB FSA certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, AI, and data visualization tools to build ESG performance dashboards and management reporting; experience with automated reporting workflows preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their application in ESG data analysis and reporting automation, and process efficiency; experience with AI‑assisted analytics platforms is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor product life cycles is preferred.
