Job summary

Upgrade Energy Philippines (UGEP) invites applications for a Site Manager assignment to our BESS project in Sta. Rita, Samar.

The successful candidate will oversee on-site execution of utility-scale solar work, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. The role requires leading on-site teams, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and subcontractors, and maintaining thorough site documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of site management experience in utility-scale construction.
• Knowledge of construction management, electrical and civil works, and safety compliance.
• Willing to be assigned full-time to Sta. Rita, Samar.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to on-site teams and align with project milestones.
• Oversee daily site activities at the utility-scale solar site.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues, and report daily site status.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams.
• Maintain QA/QC procedures and ensure regulatory standards.
• Enforce HSE policies and lead safety inductions.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and local stakeholders.
• Maintain site documentation and reports.
• Assist in manpower planning and resource management.
