Job summary

New Era Technology is seeking a Lead Network Engineer in the Philippines to drive migration from Cisco to Fortinet and Juniper across multiple sites. You will be the technical escalation point for deployment issues, lead change management, and support large-scale network refresh projects with a global context.

You will troubleshoot across Fortinet, Juniper, Cisco, and wireless environments, manage ServiceNow change controls, and guide field teams through staging, cutovers, and post-deployment

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant experience
• Strong hands-on Fortinet FortiGate/FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer
• Experience with Juniper switching and wireless technologies
• Good understanding of Cisco networking to support migration activities
• Experience managing change controls in ServiceNow
• Strong troubleshooting across routing, switching, wireless and security

Responsibilities

• Act as primary escalation point for complex deployment and migration issues
• Troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls, Juniper switches, wireless solutions, and Cisco environments during cutovers
• Provide technical guidance and root cause analysis to implementation and field teams
• Manage network-related change controls within ServiceNow
• Create and review change requests to ensure compliance and minimize risk
• Configure, deploy, and optimize Fortinet and Juniper devices including VPNs, VLANs, and SD-WAN
• Support migration activities including staging, validation, cutovers, and post-deployment tuning
• Maintain network documentation, standards, and runbooks
• Drive process improvements and knowledge sharing
