Job summary

Far Coder is seeking a Lead Mobile Engineer for a full-time, hybrid role with remote options in India. The position blends hands-on development with people leadership across mobile, frontend, backend and cloud, shaping architecture, security, CI/CD and engineering standards.

You will coach engineers, drive delivery, and ensure quality while working with globally distributed teams to deliver scalable, reliable software. Experience with TypeScript, React and AI-enabled tooling is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering production software in a commercial environment.
• Strong full-stack experience across mobile, frontend, backend and cloud technologies.
• Experience leading software teams, with people management and coaching.
• Familiarity with AI development tools and evaluating AI-generated outputs.

Responsibilities

• Lead up to two engineering streams, guiding technical direction and people development.
• Remain hands-on by designing, developing, reviewing, and shipping production software.
• Own architecture decisions, engineering standards, code quality, and CI/CD capabilities.
• Partner with Product teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions while balancing feature delivery with long-term technical investment.
• Coach and develop engineers through feedback, goal setting, and performance management.
• Drive operational excellence across teams including incident management and reliability.
