Job summary

Maya is seeking a Lead Machine Learning Engineer to spearhead ML engineering across Marketing, Growth, and Personalization. You will mentor engineers, design resilient distributed ML systems, and own mesh-facing service development for real-time personalization and recommendations.

The role requires deep expertise in agentic AI, multi-agent frameworks, and MLOps, with collaboration across product, data science, and engineering teams to optimize ROI and cloud economics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Engineering/IT or quantitative field.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience building and operating data pipelines and production ML systems.
• 3+ years leading technical initiatives or engineering teams with cross-functional stakeholders.
• 3+ years designing CI/CD pipelines, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience architecting and deploying LLM-based apps, multi-agent frameworks, vector DBs, or automated decision-making workflows.
• Domain experience in fintech, digital banking, ecommerce, or high-growth tech environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor ML engineers across Marketing, Growth, and Personalization domains.
• Architect and scale agentic AI systems for real-time marketing journeys and automated campaigns.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Scientists, and external engineering teams to align costs with ROI.
• Design resilient, large-scale distributed ML systems with fault tolerance and low latency.
• Own mesh-facing service development for real-time personalization and recommendations.
• Drive MLOps standards and production deployment cycles from staging to production.
