Job summary

National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) seeks a Lead Fullstack Application Engineer to drive end-to-end delivery of UPI API applications from design to production. You will push continuous improvements in security, performance, and scalability within a high-availability microservices ecosystem.

The role requires 9–14 years’ experience and a strong background in Java Spring Boot, REST APIs, and cloud-native architectures.

Qualifications

Good to have skills and experience required

• Experience working with largescale payment or fintech platforms.
• Exposure to realtime observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
• Strong understanding of security mechanisms including OAuth2, JWT, and API rate limiting.
• Performance optimization experience using asynchronous processing and thread management.
• Background in maintaining and evolving nationscale digital infrastructure supporting realtime transactions.
