Job summary

OpenText is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst, FP&A to partner with the Worldwide Renewals organization. You will provide financial insights, forecasts, and analyses to help leaders make informed decisions, collaborating with global teams to drive strategic planning and process improvements.

Qualifications

5+ years of FP&A, finance, accounting or related fields.
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
Experience reviewing contracts, renewals, pricing schedules.
Knowledge of CLM, governance, and compliance principles.
Excel skills with PivotTables, lookups, large data analysis.
Experience with SAP, Business Objects, Salesforce.
Strong communication and stakeholder management for senior leaders.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced global environment.
SQL, Power Query or advanced analytics is a plus.
Experience with contract management platforms like Icertis, Ironclad, DocuSign CLM, Conga.

Responsibilities

Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights, forecasts, and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
Lead and mentor a team responsible for reviewing and validating deal values and financial impact.
Preparing monthly and quarterly forecasts, budgets, financial reports, and management reviews.
Analyzing business performance, identifying key drivers, and providing recommendations to improve results.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Finance, Accounting, Legal, HR, Billing, Sales, and Professional Services.
Reviewing customer contracts, renewal agreements, amendments, and commercial terms to assess financial impact, revenue implications, and compliance with company policies.
Partnering with Legal and Sales teams to evaluate contract structures, pricing models, and renewal terms while mitigating financial and operational risks.
Managing contract-related reporting, tracking key contractual obligations, and supporting contract lifecycle management processes.
Identifying business risks and opportunities while helping stakeholders develop action plans to achieve targets.
Driving process improvements, reporting enhancements, and operational efficiencies across the organization.
