John Cockerill is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to plan and deliver hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and roll coolant system designs for strip processing lines and cold-rolling mills.

You will develop technical specs, liaise with suppliers, and support manufacturing with design queries, while keeping pace with new technologies to drive operational excellence and cost reduction.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Mechanical/Production Engineering from a reputed college.
• 8+ years in hydraulic/pneumatic system design for steel processing lines.
• Experience with multinational companies is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop technical specs and schematics for hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and roll coolant systems.
• Prepare RFQs, evaluate supplier offers and place orders.
• Approve circuit diagrams and general assembly drawings.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and group leaders.
• Update QA docs and integrate new technologies into designs.
