Job summary

Black & White Engineering, Manila operation, is seeking a Finance Support specialist to manage UK and European entities’ accounting and reporting. You will handle payments, statements, VAT/tax, and intercompany invoicing with precision and compliance.

Reporting to the Finance Team, you will collaborate with local authorities and the group treasury, using ERP (D365) and Excel to deliver timely, accurate results for lenders and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/Finance or related field; CPA preferred but not required.
• 8+ years of proven experience in accounting and finance.
• Experience with VAT & tax matters for UK & European entities.
• ERP systems knowledge; preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
• Excellent report writing and English communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders and authorities in Manila.

Responsibilities

• Manage account entries, documents, payments & finances for UK & European entities of the Group.
• Prepare financial statements, tax returns, & other reports.
• Uploading of Vendor invoices in the software.
• Assist in Finance Monthly Closing; record prepayments, accruals, depreciations, etc.
• Prepare and upload external and intercompany invoices timely.
• Liaison with local authorities for statutory compliance, statutory auditors including support in timely finalisation & filing of statutory returns.
• Support the Group Finance Team in reporting to the Lenders & PE holders.
• Liaising with the consultants for timely filing of VAT & Tax returns for UK & European entities and sharing the required documentation with them.

Duties & Responsibility

Finance Support – UK and Europe

• Manage account entries, documents, payments & finances for UK & European entities of the Group.
• Prepare financial statements, tax returns, & other reports

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting / Finance or related field. CPA is preferred but not required
• 8 + years proven working experience in the accounting and finance.
• Prior experience in dealing with VAT & Tax matters for UK & European businesses
• Strong background and knowledge in ERP System- preferably D365
• Excellent report-writing and English communication skills.
• Highly organized individual with strong attention to detail
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel.
• Self-starter demonstrating commitment, a strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
