Job summary

Sumitomo Electric Philippines in Cabuyao, Laguna seeks a Quality Engineer (CQE) with at least 1 year of experience in electronics or semiconductor industries to ensure product and process quality. You will drive customer audits, manage complaints, and translate customer specs into internal requirements.

Candidate should be skilled in 8D, FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP and APQP, with strong communication and analytical abilities, capable of working under pressure and under minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering (ECE/ Chemical/ Manufacturing/ Electrical/ Mechanical).
• 1+ year CQE or related experience in electronics or semiconductor industry.
• Awareness of Customer Specific Requirements and IATF automotive basics.

Job description

• B.S. in Engineering, preferably ECE, Chemical, Manufacturing, Electrical and Mechanical degree
• At least with 1yr CQE or related working experience in Electronics or Semicon Industry
• Accustomed with Customer Specific Requirements.
• With excellent communication skills.
• Can lead customer audits, internal audits and related quality management audits.
• Can effectively handle customer complaints with good analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Capable in conducting, leading and generating: 8D, Control Plan, FMEA, Integrating Customer Specs to Internal Specs.
• Able to demonstrate the use of statistical and analytical tools.
• Keen to detail; can work with minimum supervision; with good analytical and critical thinking.
• Can work efficiently under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Knowledgeable in Automotive (IATF) requirements, PPAP, APQP is an advantage
• Project Management experience is an advantage
• Knowledgeable in FPC manufacturing process is an advantage
