As a Lead Electronics Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and integration of embedded systems and advanced sensing technologies that power Dyson’s next‑generation products.
You will lead the development of robust firmware and sensor solutions, working cross‑functionally with electronics, mechanical, algorithm, and product teams. This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibility, ensuring delivery of high‑quality, scalable, and innovative solutions.
The role will require a highly motivated, creative, methodical, and flexible person, ready to take on challenges with a pragmatic approach. You will lead a team of Electronics Engineers in development projects and provide supervision and mentoring to juniors, graduates and new team members.
As a Lead Electronics Engineer, you will be an experienced design engineer and capable of working unsupervised to deliver high quality design solutions. Preferably you will have experience of the whole product development lifecycle, from initial concept through to mass production and product sustainability.
